📍 Route Overview — From Delhi to the Last Village Before Tibet


Day 1: Delhi to Manali

  • Distance: Approximately 540 km

  • Highlights: Overnight journey in a comfortable Volvo bus, transitioning from the bustling cityscape of Delhi to the serene landscapes of Manali.


Day 2: Manali to Jibhi

  • Distance: Approximately 100 km

  • Highlights: Acclimatization ride, exploring the charming village of Jibhi nestled in the Tirthan Valley.


Day 3: Jibhi to Sangla

  • Distance: Approximately 200 km

  • Highlights: Ride through the picturesque Kinnaur Valley, with views of the Sutlej River and apple orchards.


Day 4: Sangla to Kalpa

  • Distance: Approximately 40 km

  • Highlights: Visit Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border, and enjoy panoramic views of the Kinner Kailash range from Kalpa.


Day 5: Kalpa to Kaza

  • Distance: Approximately 200 km

  • Highlights: Ride through the high-altitude desert, crossing Nako and Tabo, and visiting the ancient Tabo Monastery.


Day 6: Kaza Exploration

  • Highlights: Visit Key Monastery, Hikkim (home to the world's highest post office), Komic (one of the highest villages), and Langza (famous for fossil hunting).


Day 7: Kaza to Chandratal

  • Distance: Approximately 100 km

  • Highlights: Cross the Kunzum Pass and camp beside the mesmerizing crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake.


Day 8: Chandratal to Manali

  • Distance: Approximately 130 km

  • Highlights: Navigate the challenging Batal-Gramphu route, rejoining the Manali-Leh highway.


Day 9: Manali to Delhi

  • Highlights: Return journey to Delhi in a comfortable Volvo bus, carrying memories of an unforgettable expedition.
